The ARW-N600 ultrasonic thickness gauge is a compact and robust gauge designed to determine the thickness of a material with high precision by simply placing the probe on one side without the need for feedback on the opposite side.
The ARW-N600 meter has a large, large color TFT display (320×240 TFT LCD) with adjustable backlighting that allows you to work even in low-light locations, IP65 protection rating, presettable alarms with audible and visual signaling, high resolution switchable by 0.1 mm / 0.01 mm / 0.001 mm and large internal data memory with transfer to PC.
The instument is equipped with dual measurement modes to detect the thckness of the material:
*Indicative data taken on steel material at the ultrasound speed set at 5920m/s
This thickness gauge is widely used in the petroleum industry, chemical industry, metalworking, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace industry for measuring material thickness using ultrasonic technology capable of detecting with only the probe resting on the surface of the measured sample. It is particularly useful in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT-NDT) for checking possible corrosion of pipes, tanks, pressure vessels, etc.
It can measure numerous types of materials such as metals, plastic, ceramics, composites, epoxy resins, glass and other materials that are well conductive to ultrasonic waves (with different limitations depending on compactness and thickness).
Datapro software for data management
The instrument is equipped with Datapro software for transferring and managing data to a PC with statistical analysis and printing of the measurement report.
