The ARW-K100 portable hardness tester is an easy-to-use, compact instrument with an all-aluminum structure that uses the ultrasonic method to detect the degree of hardness of metals in the various measurement scales (Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers) with high precision even in particular conditions, such as small spaces or areas that are difficult to access.
The hardness tester is equipped with a large graphic LCD display with backlighting to clearly and precisely display the parameters and a diamond probe positioned on a spring for rapid and precise measurement of metal hardness.
This instrument is equipped with an RS-232 interface and it is possible to connect the device to a PC and read or print the data obtained. Furthermore, thanks to the calibration function, the user has the possibility of calibrating the instrument after use. For example, calibration should be performed when: the device is not used for more than three months, if a substantial change in environmental conditions has occurred, if the probe has made a large number of measurements or if a different calibration is necessary during the measurement.
