The "FN" ARW-1920 dual technology coating thickness gauge is able to automatically detect the type of substrate (magnetic and non-magnetic) and set the measurement principle. This functionality simplifies the control phases allowing for greater detection speed and ' immediate identification of the type of base metal.
The instrument is equipped with a large backlit color TFT display with comprehensive graphical illustrations and complete data statistics with graphical display and data logging function with USB interface and data transfer and management software.

It represents the solution for any measurement of the coating layer such as painting, enamelling, galvanizing, chrome plating, anodizing on aluminium, etc. and on any metal substrate.

• The instrument is equipped with a large backlit color TFT display with complete and graphic illustrations, all the most important information is collected on the main screen
• It has a solid and compact structure with a single dual technology probe (Fe - NFe) capable of selecting the FE principle for ferrous metals, NFE for non-ferrous metals (amagnetic) and "AUTO" for automatic identification of the type of substrate
• Internal data memory (500 groups of 15 values each)
• Statistical function with indication of values: Minimum, Maximum, Average, No. of readings and standard deviation

• Two measurement modes, single and continuous (scan function)
• High resolution selectable from the menu 0.01µm, selectable from the menu with three configurations: Low (1µm), medium (0.1µm), high (0.01µm)
• Limit value entry function (low and high alarm displayed directly on the main screen with red indication of the measured value if exceeded)
• Auto power off function

Measurement Principle Thickness Gauge ARW-1920s

SINGLE DUAL TECHNOLOGY PROBE:

• Magnetic Induction (Fe): measures non-magnetic coating layer on magnetic ferrous metal bases As paint, zinc, aluminum, chromium, copper, rubber on iron substrates, cast iron, magnetic steel alloys
• Eddy Current (NFe): measures non-conductive coating layer on non ferrous non-magnetic metallic bases such as rubber, plastic, paint, oxidation (anodizing) on substrates in aluminium, copper, zinc, tin, etc.
