Digital Coating Thickness Gauge ARW-159 with dual "FN" technology that allows non-destructive, rapid and precise measurement of the thickness of a non-magnetic coating (painting, galvanizing, chromium plating, anodizing, etc.) on magnetic and non-magnetic metal substrates (ferrous and non-ferrous). The instrument is equipped with a single probe (Fe/NFe) capable of automatically measuring the type of substrate and setting the measurement principle, greatly simplifying the control phases allowing greater detection speed and immediate identification of the type of base metal.
The ARW-159 features a large 2.4" TFT color LCD display with a screen rotation function (0°, 90°, 180°, 270° degrees) to ensure clear and precise viewing at any angle. For consistent and accurate measurement, the thickness gauge is equipped with an audible warning and backlight flash and 3-color LED indication (LED on the front of the instrument) to indicate the status of the readings. The instrument also comes with a USB interface and software for data management and PC analysis.
The ARW-159 is mainly used in the field of corrosion protection. It is ideal for paint and electroplating workshops, the chemical, automotive, naval and aeronautical industries, and light and heavy engineering.
