The non-contact forehead infrared thermometer is specially designed to measure a person's body temperature, regardless of the ambient temperature. It is a multipurpose thermometer equipped with a selector that allows you to select "Body" for measuring the forehead temperature and "Surface" for measuring the temperature of surfaces and objects, all regardless of the ambient temperature.

Attention!

The thermometer sensor is very sensitive, any dirt or oil will prevent accurate measurement, check and clean the sensor regularly. The surface must be reflective and shiny, if it is dull and lackluster, please clean the sensor with a cotton swab (preferably soaked in alcohol).

Considerations and Warnings!

• Read all instructions before using this product.
• This IR Thermometer is to be used for non-contact remote temperature measurement
• Make sure your skin is dry and that no hair, makeup, clothing or anything else interferes with the measurement.
• Do not immerse the instrument in water.
• Avoid touching and/or scratching the infrared sensor lens.
• This thermometer is not a medical device, always use a clinical thermometer to verify any abnormal temperature readings encountered. This tool does not replace the advice of a doctor or other healthcare specialist
• Clean the lens area with gently blown compressed air and use a damp swab to wipe the lenses. Do not use any solvent to clean the lenses.
• If the instrument has been stored for a long time in a cold or warm environment, wait at least 20 minutes for it to adjust to the room temperature before taking measurements. In case of forehead temperature measurement, make sure that the individual has not been exposed to cold or hot environments, in this case it is necessary to wait 15/20 minutes to acclimate to the temperature. Even in the case of excessive efforts that can alter body temperature or generate sweating, it is necessary to maintain a settling time before measuring.
• To prevent disease transmission, avoid direct skin contact.
• After heavy exercise always wait at least 10 minutes before taking forehead temperature readings.
